Once you start Chiropractic, do you have to keep going?

An answer to this question: benefiting from Chiropractic is a choice you get to make.

We get to make choices all the time on what we want to do consistently, or what we want to just try out. For example, do you exercise? Do you exercise consistently, or do you just exercise around the start of the year?

Let’s do a quick review on Chiropractic and why people continue to choose to see their chiropractor consistently.

People start Chiropractic for many different reasons, but most chiropractors have a similar objective to help people function at a higher quality of life through the correction of stress within the spine, called vertebral subluxation.

“Here’s an overview of vertebral subluxation; Vertebral subluxation is a condition of a vertebra that has lost its proper juxtaposition with the one above or the one below or both; to an extent less than luxation; which occludes an opening, impinges nerves and interferes with the transmission of mental impulses.” —R.W. Stephenson, DC

Vertebral subluxation is not something you want to live with, and Chiropractors are trained in locating, analyzing and facilitating the correction there of.

Subluxation is negative stress within your body and the correction of them can influence a positive outcome on your well-being.

How do you know if you have vertebral subluxation?

If you have stress in your day to day living, you could very well have vertebral subluxation if you’re not adapting to the day to day demands or stress.

Many people believe there is something wrong with their well-being when symptoms or diseases have manifested.

This viewpoint isn’t incorrect, but rather, incomplete.

Waiting until symptoms or diseases are present to tell you that you’ve lost your well-being is like waiting to put gas in the tank when you’re on the side of the road because you can’t drive any further. You should always fill up the gas tank before the engine stops working completely.

Utilizing consistent Chiropractic adjustments, even when you feel good, is a proactive choice to determine if there is any dysfunction within the spine that is contributing to more stress and interference to your well-being.

People visit chiropractors for many different reasons, but many chiropractors have a similar objective to helping people function with a higher quality of life through the correction of vertebral subluxation due to part of your physiology not working to it potential, regardless of the presences or absence of symptoms.

Stress can lead to vertebral subluxation and subluxation can lead to more stress on well-being

Consistent Chiropractic adjustments are one way to increase your resistance to stress from the inside-out. As you increase your resistance to stress, you allow the inborn recuperative powers of well-being to be expressed. Increasing your resistance to stress from the inside-out through the correction of vertebral subluxation is a proactive lifestyle. It’s correcting something wrong, or something not working 100% correctly, within the human body and physiology.

Once you go to the chiropractor, do you have to keep going? Only if want to choose a consistent lifestyle that can reduce stress and increase your ability to adapt to more stress for a higher state of well-being.
