Chiropractic Principle #10: “The Function of Force.” The function of force is to unite intelligence and matter.
We are going to discuss Principle 10 of the 33 Chiropractic Principles, and how force unites intelligence and matter in our body to express an optimal state of well-being.
First, we’ll discuss the law of active organization and how it relates to Chiropractic. The law of active organization in Chiropractic is referred to as Innate Intelligence. This is a term that describes the inherent recuperative power of the body to self organize, self function and self heal.
Innate intelligence creates force or what we would not refer to in today’s language: energy.
Energy is that which you can’t see. It’s a form of power and is utilized to create or make a form of output or activity for that which is using it. For example, the sun is a form of energy and the plants use it in photosynthesis.
Our topic of discussion today is about the energy within the body and specifically, the energy within the neurological system.
The neurological system is the body’s energy plant as it consumes and delivers energy throughout the entire body to keep the trillions of cells working together in a state of harmony.
The energy that keeps the body working in a state of harmony is traveling up and down your spine at 275 miles per hour. As this energy is traveling throughout your body it’s carrying information within it similar to the morris code via mental impulses.
In chiropractic, nerve impulses also have another name: called mental impulses. Mental impulses that are not just electrical activity that passes through the nerve, but, are electrical activity with a non-physical message embedded within the code for the purposes of coordinated activity throughout the entire body.
Your physiology depends upon individual parts working together as one unit and due to the trillions of cells that need to cooperate with each other, there needs to be a system in the body that’s responsible for everyone to get along. That system is your neurological system and the mental impulse is like the Morris Code relaying the proper instructions for all cells, tissues and organs to work in harmony.
The thought that there are packets of information traveling through our neurological system to all parts of our body is astonishing. Just think, right now your brain and heart are communicating about whether or not you’re sitting down or if you need to get up and run a marathon. In this case, these mental impulses relay information back to your brain so that information can be sent to your legs on how much blood is needed for your activity of either sitting or running 26.2 miles.
Being interference free to these mental impulses gives your inherent recuperative powers of the body to function at a higher potential.
Every cell in your body requires mental impulses at every moment. That means there are trillions of mental impulses for every moment in your body to maintain proper function throughout the body.
Trillions of impulses per moment requires efficient means of communication, and chiropractic care helps to allow efficient and effective coordination and communication within the body.
