Hindsight is 20/20. In other words, it’s easier to look back with “20/20 vision” and evaluate the decisions you made than to predict the outcomes that will take place in the future.

Consistent Chiropractic adjustments can lead to many positive changes in well-being, but predicting specifically what those changes are going to be can be challenging at best. The human body is magnificent and complex and unique. There are principles within the physiology that allow us to predict what could happen, but due to limitations of matter for each of us, there can be unknown factors that accompany the positive changes you’re looking for within each chiropractic adjustment.

Benefiting from consistent chiropractic adjustments can be similar to hindsight. Hindsight means “the ability to understand an event or situation only after it has happened.”

In regards to regular chiropractic care, you have two options:

  1. You can focus on the positive influence Chiropractic Adjustments have on well-being so your self-healing characteristics can overcome a specific health condition.
  2. Or, you can focus on the Chiropractic Adjustments and the relationship they have on self-healing for greater abilities to adapt to stress and express more well-being.

It’s easier to look back on consistent care and see the value of each chiropractic adjustment than it is to predict exactly what good will come from future visits to your chiropractor.

The reason there is Chiropractic Hindsight is that your well-being may have no signs or warnings that there is inner dysfunction. Your overall state of condition may feel fine, but inside there could be chaos and stress unseen or unfelt.

Chiropractors are advocates for the saying…“how you feel just doesn’t correlate to how well you function.”

Chiropractic Hindsight is when you’ve been under regular chiropractic care and can see the value in each Chiropractic Adjustment that has produced specific higher quality changes.

For those who are currently using chiropractic consistently, there may likely be obvious indicators before and after the adjustment that demonstrate that it’s a worth while investment and therefore less hindsight is needed.

But, what about those who have never been to a chiropractor before? What if they’re interested in learning more about it, or even considering trying it?

How do you encourage someone to do something without forecasting what the future holds for them while they’re under care?

Steve Jobs has a famous quote, “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever.”

In chiropractic, we like to trust that the “adjustments will connect” in your future through a logical conclusion that each chiropractic adjustment can provide positive influence to your well-being and quality of life. This logic is derived from the evidence that spinal health is linked to the condition of the brain and neurological system. Poor spinal health affects your neurological well-being.

Over 120 years of chiropractic hindsight continues to produce connections between the relationship of structure and function. When there is proper spinal structure, neurological function is impacted and the innate recuperate powers to heal and coordinate proper function are fully expressed.

In regards to your Chiropractic Hindsight, understanding regular chiropractic care allows the inner recuperative power of the body to consistently generate and coordinate a higher state of well-being.

As a practicing Chiropractor for over ten years, my practice is full of Chiropractic Hindsight. My clients visit our practice on a weekly basis with the focus on more well-being and greater adaptability to the day to day stress while looking back seeing the dots connected with the logic of the body functioning better after consistent chiropractic adjustments. Regular Chiropractic Care is about consistency, and consistency is a key to having positive hindsight.
