“Mental impulse is that accumulation of immaterial units of intellectual energy which, after having been absorbed, transformed and expelled through the brain, Innate Intelligence deems of proper quantity and quality to personify specific characteristic functions.”  – B.J. Palmer V2 1920 Chiropractic Green Book The Science of Chiropractic

What is the The Test of Transformation? Understanding this concept can help open up your awareness to the potential within you.

In Frank Dupree’s book: Metamorphosis: The Transformation of the Soul he tells a story to show us what self discovery and self improvement entails. In his book he shares how a boy watches a butterfly struggling to emerge out of the cocoon in the final stages of transformation. This transformation for the butterfly was a struggle, painful and a process that took time and energy from the caterpillar attempting to turn into a butterfly. In sympathy, the boy makes it possible for the caterpillar to transform into a butterfly with less struggle by cutting a hole in the cocoon. This small aid to lower the struggle for the transformation process ended up hurting the butterfly in the process. The butterfly, now physically transformed, lacked the strength and potential to fly due to lack of resistance in the transformation process of exiting the cocoon.

This summary of life’s greatest teachings tells us that change and transformation should be challenging. The path of least resistance with your quality of life or well-being provides the least resistance to forward growth, adaptation and transformation into a new you!

Within you is a pathway to potential transformation through recuperative innate powers; creating new tissue at the proper quantity and quality specifically designed for greater overall function and adaptation.
