Inside the vision behind ChiroWay of Eau Claire and its focus on pregnancy, childhood, and family wellness.
Women’s History Month is a time to recognize the women who shape their communities through leadership, service, and vision. In Eau Claire, Wisconsin, that leadership can be seen in practices like ChiroWay of Eau Claire, where Dr. Britney Binder, a family chiropractor and local business owner, is building a space dedicated to supporting mothers, children, and growing families.
As a woman chiropractor in Eau Claire, Dr. Britney brings both professional expertise and personal perspective to her work—helping families integrate chiropractic care into their lives from pregnancy through childhood and beyond.
Building a Practice Rooted in Chiropractic Philosophy
Dr. Britney’s journey into chiropractic began with the philosophy behind the profession.
“I was drawn to chiropractic because of the philosophy—the body is designed to heal and adapt when free from interference,” she explains. “That perspective changed how I thought about health and how people and children need chiropractic care as a foundation for everything else.”
Opening ChiroWay of Eau Claire allowed her to build a practice centered around proactive, family-focused care. As a mother herself, she is especially passionate about supporting women through pregnancy and helping children grow and develop with strong foundations for health.
“I wanted to create a space where pregnant women, babies, and kids feel welcomed and supported from the beginning,” she says. “Owning my own practice gives me the freedom to build that environment intentionally.”
The Reality of Being a Woman Business Owner
Like many women who pursue entrepreneurship, Dr. Britney has learned to balance multiple roles.
One of the most underestimated challenges, she says, is managing the many responsibilities women often carry simultaneously.
“Doctor, business owner, mother, wife, community member—women often carry many invisible responsibilities,” she says. “Learning how to lead a business while protecting my time and energy for family is a constant process.”
Rather than viewing those roles as competing demands, she sees them as strengths that complement one another.
“Being a mother has made me a better chiropractor for the clients that I serve,” she explains.
Encouraging Other Women to Step Into Leadership
When asked what advice she would give someone considering business ownership, Dr. Britney emphasizes the importance of clarity of purpose.
“Make sure you understand your ‘why’ and make sure it’s crystal clear,” she says. “When ownership—or even being an employee—gets difficult, you’ll need your why to fall back on for strength and encouragement.”
Ownership may not always be the easier path, she acknowledges, but it can be deeply rewarding.
Supporting Mothers, Babies, and Families in Eau Claire
At ChiroWay of Eau Claire, Dr. Britney focuses on caring for pregnant mothers, infants, and children. Her vision for the practice centers on helping families feel supported as they raise healthy children and navigate parenthood with confidence.
Chiropractic care during pregnancy focuses on helping the mother’s body adapt to the physical changes of pregnancy while supporting pelvic balance so the baby has an optimal environment for growth and development.
“When mothers are supported, the entire family benefits,” she says. “That ripple effect of healthy moms, healthy babies, and thriving families is the impact I hope to have in my community.”
Advanced Training to Support Growing Families
Dr. Britney Binder, DC, is currently pursuing her CACCP (Certified by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics) through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, the leading organization advancing education and research in chiropractic care for pregnant women and children.
She is also certified in the Webster Technique, a specialized chiropractic analysis and adjustment used during pregnancy to support pelvic balance and optimal neurological system function.
In practice, she utilizes Advanced Muscle Palpation Technique, a tonal chiropractic approach that allows for precise, individualized adjustments.
This specialized training allows her to provide deeper support for mothers and families throughout pregnancy and early childhood development.
Life Beyond the Practice
Outside the office, Dr. Britney and her husband are raising three busy children and are active members of their local homeschool and church communities.
Their family enjoys spending warm days at the lake, watching their kids play hockey, going on family adventures, and relaxing at home with their two golden retrievers.
These experiences shape how she approaches chiropractic care, seeing families not just as patients, but as people navigating the same busy and meaningful seasons of life.
Why Visibility Matters During Women’s History Month
For Dr. Britney, being a visible woman business owner carries an important message.
“It means showing other women—and especially young girls—that you can build something meaningful while also prioritizing family,” she says.
Her children see her care for patients, run a business, and remain present in their lives.
“That visibility matters,” she says. “It shows them that passion, service, and family can all exist together.”
Celebrating the Influence of Women in Health and Community
Women’s History Month is a reminder of the powerful influence women have in shaping families and communities.
“So much of health begins with mothers,” Dr. Britney explains. “How they care for themselves during pregnancy, how they support their children’s development, and the environments they create at home.”
Supporting women in that role is one of the most meaningful aspects of her work as a chiropractor in Eau Claire.
Through ChiroWay of Eau Claire, Dr. Britney Binder continues to create a place where families feel welcomed, supported, and empowered in their health journey. Learn more about Dr. Britney and ChiroWay of Eau Claire here!
