Practice What You Preach

As chiropractors, we are frequently asked if we adjust ourselves. The answer is a resounding NO, as we cannot feel the subluxation and properly carry out an adjustment on our own spine. So, in order to get checked and adjusted we, you guessed it, go see a chiropractor. I get adjusted about 1-2 times a week. Not because I feel bad. Not because I am sick. Not because I have pain. I do it because I want to be the very best that I can be, which means that the people who come see me get the best adjustments possible because I am functioning at my own peak potential.

So, when I ask my own members to come in that often, I can share with them that this frequency is exactly what I do, what I recommend to my family, and what I recommend to everyone who walks through my door. I practice what I preach so that I can be an example to everyone I come into contact with. I hope this inspires you to take care of yourself in the best way possible so you can be at your best, and to live a life that practices what you preach.
